The Toledo "Statue of Liberty" - named in 1949 after Armand Goutorbe, who saved countless numbers of US GI's as a French Intelligence Officer is WWII, was gifted a Willy's Jeep by the same GI's who were the recipients of his heroism. Armand became affectionately known in Champagne, France as the "JEEPER" man due to his inseparable and necessary relationship with our famed vehicle, which allowed him to tend to his vines when his war injuries prevented him from walking. In homage to the history, his relationship with the vehicle and his endearing nickname, Armand renamed his vineyard Champagne Jeeper in 1949. Fast forward to modern day Champagne and Nicolas Dubois and Michel Reybier "https://www.michelreybier.com/en/" joined forces to create this best-in-class, hyper-luxury champagne! This audacious new beginning, now with five cuvees, has launched Jeeper straight to the top of the exclusive and long established world of champagne. Jeeper Cuvee Naturelle Organic is a Zero Dosage, certified organic cuvee comprised of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. The Cuvee Naturelle presents extreme finesse, with a mineral edge and great aromatic complexity, a very pure champagne, certified organic. It boasts 92 points from James Suckling who described it thusly: "An interesting Champagne that is made from organically grown grapes with sliced apple, lemon and dried pear character. Full body and dry mouthfeel with phenolic tension. A serious Champagne." Jeeper Cuvee Naturelle has received a treasure trove of international awards.
